I love ASOS. I could literally spend all day browsing. Here are my current faves:
Totally a '70s vibe going on here, but my wardrobe is definitely craving a little injection of these light and airy pieces for spring.

Spring has sprung:
Happy first official day of Spring! We celebrated the weather by throwing open all our windows, taking Tillie for a nice long walk around the neighborhood, and enjoying deliciously cold Coke floats once the sun went down.
In case you were wondering, our weekend consisted of:
- all day marathon of WWII in HD with Schuck
- shoe shopping with Kat
- dinner and drinks at Cantina Laredo
- visiting our friends at the dog park
- some much needed relaxation time in front of a Harry Potter movie marathon
Apparently, this was the weekend for television marathons.
And while Andrew's on Spring Break this week (I'm completely jealous), we plan on:
- catching up on some sleep (him, not me)
- playing a long awaited video game that comes out at midnight tonight
- hitting the gym a little harder in anticipation of triathlon training
- making some more naan (we're obsessed) and gorging on it, thus erasing all the hard work done at the gym
There's still time to get out there and enjoy this amazing Spring weather. Go out for a milkshake, cruise with the windows down, or sit on the porch under the stars.
And don't forget to listen to the song at the top of this post. "Young Blood" by the Naked and Famous is a pretty good song. I discovered them a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed listening to the entire album. It's the perfect music for this time of year.

Spring 2011 picks
I realize I may have been pretty harsh about Valentine's Day. My feelings haven't changed, but I do apologize for expressing them so vehemently.
Now that this, the last major landmark of winter has passed, I feel like I can finally move on to more important (read: warmer) things. Spring is on its way. I can feel it on my arms and legs. I'm wearing a dress today, something I haven't been brave enough to do since the temperature got too chilly for my taste.
And with spring comes the end of winter sales. Oh yes, one of my favorite times to shop. Just yesterday I scored a pair of boots for me and a pair of CK chukkas for Andrew for seriously cheap on Piperlime.

I desperately need a pair of nude pumps. And everything else.

As you may know, I am completely in love with Piperlime. You don't want to know how many hours a week I spend on their site. Before you judge, you should know that most of the time, I am just browsing for something that almost always eludes me. When there is an amazing sale (like right now), I will make a purchase like the shoes above. But mostly it's just me secretly wishing I had $500 to spend on a coat. Like the coat in this outfit, which I am in love with (the entire thing):
That's right. That Milly coat is $540. Le sigh.
And because I have been browsing this site for the last hour, here is what I'm wishing for to round out my Spring wardrobe:
I desperately need a pair of nude pumps. And everything else.

I am the busiest of bees

Mom and I went to Home Depot today to get stuff to fix up the apartment. I got some flowers for the back flower bed and am so excited about planting them. Now that it's officially spring, I have my fingers crossed that I will get to do that soon.
Today I helped my mom bathe my sister's dog and clipped his claws in addition to both of her cats. Apparently, I am the only one in my family that isn't afraid to clip an animal's claws. I should charge for my services.
I also finally got the frame painted on this picture and hung it in the kitchen. I think it's cute. It definitely brightens it up a little.
My mom made homemade lasagna for dinner tonight and I went over to enjoy some. It is one of my very favorite dishes. Every time I came home from college, it was all I ever wanted my mom to make. It is incredibly delicious.
Now I am off to listen to Grease and work on the kitchen cabinets. Watch for pictures coming soon.
