Check out this Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2 trailer that someone put together using footage from the previous seven movies:
If this doesn't get you excited, check your pulse. You're probably dead.
In other news: we bought Andrew's plane tickets for Las Vegas! This will probably be our one and only trip to Sin City (it isn't normally our cup of tea) so if anyone has any suggestions for what to check out while we're there, we'd be more than happy to hear them. We were thinking about going to see the Lion King while we're there but we've both seen it already (A in St. Louis, me on Broadway in NYC).
And for all of you that browse this blog looking for mention of A's sleeptalking, listen up:
Last night, I was having trouble falling asleep. Lucky for me, a certain someone wasn't having any trouble sleeping whatsoever because while I was lying there in the dark, I heard a voice mumble and it said "I know for the really important stuff in the morning you'll get me. Teleport and stuff like that."
Haahaa.

Memorial Day Weekend:
Hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend! Here is what we did to celebrate the break from work and school:
We finally finished the 2000 piece puzzle of the Sistine Chapel that we started weeks ago.
Shout out to my friend Laura who celebrated her 26th birthday on Saturday! There's a very fun package headed your way this week.
We took Tillie to the dog park on Sunday. The weather was awesome. She ate tons of grass, ran around, got horribly muddy, and took a dip in the river. And then she got a bath when we came home.
Today we made some whole wheat dark chocolate chunk cookies from scratch. It's the only way to make cookies. I never made cookies from a package. That stuff's for amateurs.
We took a walk tonight before dinner. It was warm with a slight breeze and made me physically hurt for our bikes that are still on their way. It was perfect bike riding weather.
Tonight Tillie and I did laundry, planned our outfits for the week, and watched "Young Victoria" (my fave) twice. In a row.
Our lives are so interesting, don't pretend like you're not wishing you were us right now.

An update on our world:
Andrew is kicking butt: he started summer school and signed up to do volunteer disaster relief for the Red Cross in the same week. If only we all had it together like him.
We finally ordered our bikes! They said it'll take a few days to get them in and get them assembled, so look for pictures the middle to end of next week.
We finally rented "Somewhere", a movie I have been wanting to see since December. It's good. You should watch it. Especially if you like Sofia Coppola.
Kristin (1/4 of the Order) is in town and I have been hanging out with her, making up for the lack of time spent together during the last time she was home.
I'm going to Las Vegas in July for work -- pretty excited about it. Andrew may be going with me, depending on what his class schedule looks like.

It's the end of the world as we know it:
A radical religious group is claiming that, based on the mathematical calculations of this guy, the world will be ending at 6:00pm tomorrow (May 21, 2011) evening. I think this is ridiculous. I don't get why everyone is so freaked out. I'm pretty sure that when the world does end, it won't be when everyone is expecting it. And even when it does, there's nothing you can do to stop it so why waste time worrying about it. Just live your life and whatever is going to happen will happen.
Also, I got this necklace from JewelMint:
It's a members only jewelry site featuring unique pieces designed by actress Kate Bosworth and her best friend and stylist Cher Coulter. You answer some questions and they suggest pieces that fit your style. And each piece is only $29.99. And sometimes they have crazy deals. Like I scored this necklace for $8 (+ free shipping) using a coupon. Isn't it cool? I'm dreaming of pairing this with some monochromatic tanks, little black dresses, and button up shirts for work. And I'm going to look smashing. You can get in on this too, just follow this link and start shopping.
Have a great weekend guys. Be sure to have some fun tomorrow. You know, in case it's your last ;)

New clothes, new music:
Had two shirts from J.Crew waiting on me when I got home today. One of them looks like this:
Also, listened to some snippets of Deathcab's new album, Codes and Keys, coming out May 31st. It sounds like it's going to be pretty awesome. I'm really enjoying "You are a Tourist" and the video is pretty cool too:
